Arrow Nose(long nose)
If the tip of the nose drops too low covering the philtrum, it makes your nose look like a shape of an arrow and is attributed a long or descending cartilage. Surgery reducing the length of a nose lifts the tip of the nose making it look shorter. It is surgery requiring superior technique and experience among other methods of correction on the cartilage in the tip of the nose.
An Upturned Nose(short nose)
The short nose is the nose whose end is lifted and the insides of the nostrils can be seen. The length of the nose needs to be stretched and the carilago alaris needs to be rearranged. After rearranging the cartilage, the stretched skin becomes tight and tries to return cartilage to the original position. There has to be another operation controlling this tendency and maintaining its shape. It is most important to lengthen the nose without placing a strain on the tip of the nose.
