The Surgery Method

Usually incisions will be made within the nostril so that scars are not visible. Once the incision is made, space (pocket) is created underneath the periosteum (the tough and thin curtain surrounding the bones) of the nasal bone in to affix the implant. Once the implant or autologous’ shape and height are curved according to each patient, it is then placed into the pocket.
If the tip of the nose or the rounded sides require alteration, there may be additional surgeries necessary. Sometimes, during surgery, an incision is made on the columella nasi, the nasal structure is exposed completely while correction of the bone and cartilage is correctly done as per the patient’s desires.
